Here at MSP we use a Direct-Inject System — the only no-drill tree trunk injection method that is easy, fast, proven effective and tree-friendly. The Wedgle Direct-Inject System is an effective, tree-friendly way to treat trees for a broad range of destructive pests, harmful diseases, and nutrient deficiencies including Hemlock Woolly Adelgids, Emerald Ash Borers, psyllids, aphids, Oak Wilt, Dutch Elm Disease, Anthracnose, chlorosis and more. When using this method the product is Injected directly though bark without drilling. No air enters the sapwood, so chemical is readily absorbed. Vascular system is undisturbed, maintaining nutrient movement upward and laterally.The product is injected into the cambial zone where the tree can use it effectively. You’ll see improved results from less chemical. Multiple or annual treatments can be made without injuring the tree. Using this method there is no spraying, no run off, no direct contact with chemicals, no leaching out of soil, and the treatment is available immediately to the tree.
